Summer is in full swing here in the Pigeon Forge area as we just had an incredible 4th of July weekend complete with free concerts, midnight parades and fireworks shows. There literally was something for everyone to go see and experience and from the look of it – no one was disappointed. Even the weather kindly lent a hand with clear skies and a light breeze. In short, it was a great weekend to be in the Smokies.
That being said, there still are more than three weeks left in the month and there are plenty of events coming up. Both the SEAA Girl’s Slow and Fast Pitch World Series are being held here and promise to be pretty exciting. Then there is the Great Southern Truck & Tractor Pull for some very loud and entertaining fun. Oh, we certainly can’t forget the Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales event being held in Gatlinburg nor the ever popular Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair.
Sound like fun? It sure does to us and best of all, this is just a sampling of what is going on down in your favorite family vacation destination. So what are you waiting for? Come see Pigeon Forge – http://www.seepigeonforge.com/
